At 3 years old, bopping his head from the bedroom upstairs to the low-passed 70’s disco boom, boom, boom of his dads’ decks at those weekly parties in Birmingham, England, Marc was supposed to be sleeping, but instead, caught the bug!

At age 14, Marc "MarqA" Ainsworth, by then, living in Canada, started DJing in the small town of Peterborough, Ontario and to this day, bangs out some of the most upfront and infectious dance music available around the world.

Marc has filled dance floors for all types of occasions all over Ontario at school dances, private parties, bars, restaurants & night clubs. Music has taken him across The Caribbean, The Mediterranean and places like Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Russia while honing his programming skills as a DJ sailing the seas from 99-2001.

Never one to close doors and always looking for ways to live a music filled career without the need for outside income, this former Trebas Institute student now runs his own successful karaoke company “A1Karaoke” as well as his event production company “Wedding DJs Toronto”, both of which keep him busy in between his love of house music and dance music production. The natural progression from Deejaying to production was inevitable and has Marc's tracks reaching the decks of some very talented tastemakers.
